Joe Capers's Profile and Contact Information

Joe Capers graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in risk management and insurance.  Since then, he has devoted his career to gaining a wide range of experience in the insurance industry.  Starting out as an Underwriter for national accounts and sales, he worked his way up, serving in various corporate positions and as President and CEO for a large insurance holding company for eight years.  Joe and Lea went on to build their own insurance company in Atlanta and then established Insurance Zone in Destin, FL in 2008, and he is also the Executive Manager of UBIC, a Workers Comp company in Marietta, Ga.

Joe is also very active in various other organizations throughout the community and serves on various boards. He currently serves as Board Chairman of Alaqua Animal Refuge, and recently served on the boards of the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce and the Seaside Repertory Theatre.  He is a member of Santa Rosa Golf and Beach Club and works on the Sacred Heart Charity Golf Classic Committee, the MORE Men’s Group at Resurrection Catholic Church, and is active in the Community Association Industry.

Two of Joe’s passions are supporting groups and raising awareness and funds, especially locally that support animal welfare and parents who protect their children from abuse.
